About

My name is RaeAnn Wilson and I formed Furry Little World because I have a passion for animals and modeling. I am using my experience as a working model to showcase animals in a fun way so that they will have a greater chance of being adopted. Our board feels that the need for increasing adoption rates throughout the country is of paramount importance. On average, 7.6 million animals enter shelters nationwide every year. Of those, 3.9 million are dogs and 3.4 million are cats. On an annual basis, 2.7 million animals are euthanized because they don’t get adopted (1.2 million dogs and 1.4 million cats). Help us in our journey to get more animals adopted, and lower euthanization rates.

MY INSPIRATION

Over the years my family and I have had many animals and I fell in love with every single one. We've had birds, frogs, fish, snakes, turtles, bunnies, hampsters, dogs, and cats. My dogs are my best friends and everytime I look at them I think that everyone should have an animal that makes them as happy as my dogs make me. We also adopted our cat off of the street. We found him digging in our trash and was so thin that his ribs were showing. It took 6 months for him to trust my family and I enough to come inside, but now he's fat, happy, and sleeps all day!

Furry Little World Purpose

The purpose of this company is to be able to reach out to national shelters and give them the opportunity to participate in our events. Furry Little World wants to help every animal it can while also connecting families with adoptable new furry members. Part of our fashion design team consists of students presently engaged in studying the arts of design, make up, hair grooming, and culinary fields while others are actively pursuing the study of business, marketing, management, and the science of veterinary studies. Through this program we hope that they will gain real life experience as they learn what it takes to bring a community together for a worthy cause.
